Expansion to Today
The Twins as they are affectionately called by many locals and loved ones decided to branch out to be able to supply the demand to all of their valued customers - with each brother manning his own location. The First Two locations to be established were The Arawak Cay location and the Boyd Road Location which to this day are still the two primary Restaurants’. As the Daiquiris quickly reached acclaimed local success it was no surprise that it would be destined for international notoriety as well and by chance it did.
In the summer of 1999 the then CBS This Morning host Mark Mcuen was in the Bahamas doing a feature on the island and was informed of the famous local phenomenon daiquiris and decided to feature the restaurant on his show. This was the catalyst for the Twin Brothers Brand to be internationally known.
The Twins had won over the hearts of the Bahamian people and had cemented their name internationally and were very proud of their accomplishments. When asked to what or whom they accredit their success Buddy replies “you know you have to put God first because He is the giver and taker of all things, but also hard work, Danny and I persevered because we knew what we wanted to do and we made it happen it didn’t come easy but we did it you know,” he smiles again.
Today The Twin Brothers brand boast five locations – Arawak Cay, Boyd Road, The Mall at Marathon, Coconut Grove Avenue and the newest location on Potters Cay Dock.
